Earlier this year Clark Hollenberg went to Bangladesh with Professor Mukherjee for the Dhaka Art Summit and described it as an eye-opening experience. For Clark, Bangladesh was an extremely foreign part of the world that had a different language, culture, and urban landscape, but nevertheless he still experienced an insider view of the international 鈥渁rt world鈥. He was able to meet artists as well as curators and writers from prestigious art institutions, and participated in the preparation and installation of an immersive artwork that took center stage at the exhibition. The hospitality and kindness of the people of Bangladesh amazed him. As a foreigner, he would constantly be asked to take 鈥渟elfies鈥 with local residents and many people that he encountered wanted to shake his hand and wanted to know where he was from. He is ever so grateful that Professor Mukherjee and 麻豆传媒 enabled him to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime trip!
