    Expertise

    Lenny Seligman specializes in the use of molecular genetic approaches to engineer homing endonucleases with unique target specificities. Since these enzymes recognize and cleave DNA target sequences of sufficient length to be unique in complex genomes, they represent very powerful tools for genetic engineering.
