- Appearances on flute have included the June in Buffalo Festival, the Composers Conference and Chamber Music Center at Wellesley College, the Lake Placid Institute, the Guggenheim Works and Process Series, the Ojai Festival, the Fromm Contemporary Music Series at Harvard University and The Dartington International Summer School in England.
- Appearances on shakuhachi include the World Shakuhachi Festivals in Sydney, Australia, in 2008, Kyoto, Japan, in 2012, and London, England, in 2018; the Rockies Shakuhachi Camp in Boulder, Colorado, from 2009 to 2011, 2017, and in Claremont at Scripps College in 2024; at REDCAT in Los Angeles in 2009; as guest artist with Makoto Taiko at Occidental College’s Thorne Hall in 2016, at the Shumei Center in Pasadena in 2017, and the Arcadia Performing Arts Center in 2018; and as guest artist for special events at Bowers Museum in 2023 and 2024. On shakuhachi, Rudich has also recorded for the television series Cobra Kai and the video game League of Legends.

In addition to teaching at Â鶹´«Ã½ since 1992, Rudich was previously professor of flute at California Institute of the Arts from 1987 to 2024, where she taught private flute students, coached chamber music, and performed in the New Century Players. Rudich led shakuhachi workshops and founded and directed the Japan Ensemble, and she taught courses in performance health, including yoga, anatomy, and injury prevention for musicians.
