Pomona is only a small town at the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, yet the contemporary art exhibited at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Museum of Art between 1969 and 1973 was as radical as any in the country. This magical confluence of minor institutional oversight and major curatorial ambition is being revisited in a three-part exhibition, “It Happened at Pomona: Art at the Edge of Los Angeles 1969-1973.â€
