Scarlett and I met in Foundations of 2D Design, where I had the pleasure of being able to see her work and her technical skills develop as the semester continued.

I first met Alex as a fellow gallery assistant at the Chan Gallery, first virtually then in person. As we returned to campus, I was able to interact with her in our shared classes and as we worked on Painting: New Approaches.

A few students who work in the Art Department and are art majors (or minors) chimed in about their experiences with the senior art exhibition that took place in Studio Art Hall in December 2021.

This past year the Chan Gallery saw a handful of virtual exhibitions for the first time as we were all working remotely worldwide.
