Prof. Pearson was part of an expert panel that just released a synthesis report on how behavioral scientists, engineers, and architects can work together to enhance sustainability in the built environment. 

James was just announced Dean of University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School, the top ranked business and management school in the country.  After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Pomona, she earned her Ph.D.

 Alicia graduated from Pomona in 2008 and accepted a position in Psychological Sciences at Western Oregon University. She specializes in clinical psychology.

The paper is titled "Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder: Is Supply Adequate to Meet Public Health Needs?" and was written in collaboration with researchers at McLean Hospital.

Seanna Cade Leath accepted a tenure track position in Community Psychology at the University of Virginia.

Amina Simmons’13 defended her dissertation titled, "African American women’s experiences of race-based traumatic stress", in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Miami.

The Wig Distinguished Professor award for excellence in teaching is the highest honor bestowed on Pomona faculty and recognizes exceptional teaching, concern for students and service to the College and the community.
